FIVE ⌘ Yotsuba and Running Away [Written?|Action]

[Otonashi left yesterday. That meant that now Yotsuba was stuck in a house with that loser Naoi. The fact he was really kind a little while back at the beach but now he's really mean again is more than a little confusing to the girl. Yuri is still here but right now all Yotsuba is thinking of is the bad stuff. Namely no more Otonashi and lots more stupid, mean Naoi.

What she does next seems like a brilliant idea! This will totally bring Otonashi back and make Naoi be nice again, and if it doesn't then oh well at least she's not living in the same house as him anymore.

This badly scrawled message appears on the journals:]



[Now then! If she's running away she needs lots of important things. For one her pink fluffy coat that Jack gave her to keep warm, a ton of food from the fridge, the viking helmet and fishing pole thing that Hiccup got her, the cicada plushie Otonashi left for her...

It isn't until she tries leaving the house with all her belongings that she realises this is a bad idea. So instead she settles on the coat and the plushie. Sacrifices have to be made if you're running away! Sadly these sacrifices also include her journal so she won't be replying to her little goodbye message.

Morning
This is a great idea! Running away from home is the best thing she's ever decided to do! Otonashi will be trying to find his way back now and Naoi is probably feeling really bad about pulling her hair and telling her to shut up all the time. Yuri is probably shouting at him for it too! Haha, yes, running away has solved everything! Yotsuba happily marches around the village with a big smile on her face, more than a little proud at how she thinks her plan is going.

Midday
Hungry... Why didn't she bring some food with her? Maybe she'll wander on over to Seventh Heaven and see if she can get some food from there, they make awesome pancakes after all. Or maybe the bakery! Or she could settle for staring at passers-by with big, open eyes until they give her something to eat. Screw taking candy from strangers she's hungry!!

Afternoon
Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. Now she's getting cold. And hungry again. And Otonashi hasn't come back and found her yet... She wants to go home. The problem is Yotsuba has wandered so far away from home by this point that she's in a part of the village she doesn't even recognise. Now she's lost, cold, hungry and really upset. How is she going to get home now?]

Waaaaaaaah!! Yotsuba wants to go home!! Wanna go hooome!!

[Slowly turning back around, checking over her shoulder first to make sure Jack isn't going to breathe all over her again.]

Okay, Yotsuba will watch! It's a front row seat!

[Clapping her hands together and shifting excitedly on her stool.]

Yotsuba will need a new song for this.

Ready the song, then, lassie, because here he goes!

[And after striking the match, Sparrow breathes on it with a tremendous breath. There is shooting blue flame. There is a horrible burning alcohol smell. It is impressive and amazing.]

[...Whoah he did it. The song will have to wait for a moment though because she's sitting here in stupefied awe.]

It smells bad.

[Okay there's that BUT OTHER THAN COMMENTING ON THE SMELL she's still staring wide eyed and will probably be stuck like this for some time.]

[Jack, meanwhile, is also amazed at the outcome. He extinguishes a little fire that has started on the tip of one beard-tail. Then he speaks.]

I am a figure of heroic achievement. Marvelous.

[The amazed staring breaks away into frantic and excited clapping!]

You did it, you really did it Captain Jack! There was fire and it was blue and it looked really cool, that's a Nobel Prize! Good job!!

A Nobel Prize! A Nobel Prize for me! [He sounds genuinely excited about this.] Shall I try for another? Do you require another shot, lovely?

One more round! Ooooi! [Taking her glass and slamming it onto the bar!] Yotsuba should have brought a camera so the memories could last a life time!

Aye! A lifetime! [He fills her glass with apple juice! His own? Romulan Ale! He will very soon topple to the floor in a blue puddle!]

Ready? One! Two! And down the loo!

[Gross. But rhyme-y. He takes his shot.]

[And down the juice goes, properly this time and not thrown all over her sticky little face. She even throws in a flushing water sound effect after she swallows.]

Gawhooosh! All gone, yeah!

Yotshuba, you are the mostest --

[Whatever she is the mostest of is lost as Jack slides into a graceful heap on the floor. Not unconscious, but not...really conscious.]

[He's okay, right? Sure he's still moving and making noise so he's conscious. Sort of. But he looks pretty bad down there in a heap.

[But alas she does not. So instead she'll slowly lower herself from the bar stool and will start backing away towards the door.

[A minute or so later though she comes rushing in, throwing the doors to the bar open (or at least trying to) and then diving to the floor, rolling and sitting up next to Jack.]

Capitain Jack!! Stay with Yotsuba, don't go into the light!

[Grabbing Jack's arm and shaking it madly.]

[She has no idea what is going on at all anymore. But she's going to clamp down onto Jack's arm and hold on anyway.]
