[Sometime in the afternoon, Yotsuba sees this message pop up in her journal. Rumours of buried treasure?! No way, she had totally been left out of the loop, what rumours?! There are probably hundreds, no, thousands of people already out looking for the treasure by now... She'll have to be quick and find it before anyone else! That treasure will be hers!!

First off she heads to the fountain and from there her treasure hunt begins! Yotsuba has her journal with her as she walks around all over the place trying to find the next hint to where the treasure is buried. There's the odd occasion where she's concentrating so hard on her journal that she ends up bumping into walls and maybe even people, but that doesn't deter her for long! Feel free to run into her at any of these locations: the fountain, playground, bakery, item shop, clinic, cherry blossom hill, library and finally around house 16. Yes, she's going to be all over the place today.

If you don't feel like engaging this five year old in her treasure hunting shenanigans that's fine. Yotsuba might just come to you first, waving her latest hint around and trying to get your attention.]

Hey, heeey! Do you see this? I need help, there's buried treasure out there and Yotsuba is going to find it!

[If you help her out there might be some candy and plastic coins in it for you in future. Maybe, if she decides to share.]

[the fountain is one of Jilly's favorite places to sit and people watch or, on nicer days, to draw. This time, she wasn't watching the crowd around her very closely, except when she looked up occasionally to grab a new reference to sketch, seeing how quickly she can capture the bits of movement around her. Sitting crosslegged on the fountain's ledge, her pencil moves in quick sweeps over the page.]

[And here comes Yotsuba, walking around the edge of the fountain with her arms out like a tight rope walker. Now she's meant to be looking for her next clue, but seeing an artist at work makes it very tempting to sit down and join in... So she decides to do just that!

Walking over on the fountain she sits right up close to Jilly, also crosslegged for the sake of copying her and starts sketching over the page in her journal that talks about buried treasure. She doesn't have a pencil with her though so it's purely pretend on her part.]

Jilly gave the girl a sideways glance, smiling slightly at the serious way she mimicked her movements. After a moment, the artist reached up to pull a spare pencil from behind her ear, offering it to the girl]

Thank you! Yotsuba is gonna draw a cow!

[A cow with an eye patch and a bandanna. A pirate cow. Her drawing skills aren't that amazing however so the 'cow' already looks like an oval with four stubby rectangles sticking out in all directions for legs.]

What're you drawing, a masterpiece?

Hmm...I was drawing people walking by, but I think I can try to do a masterpiece, next.

Should I draw you for the masterpiece?

Really? You'll draw Yotsuba? Ohhh, Yotsuba is a great thing to draw, look!

[Putting her journal and the pencil down she hops off the fountain and strikes a pose! ... And she seems to be keeping the pose extremely well. It's almost like someone froze her in place.]

[that gets her laughing. She very nearly tells her to take a seat again, or at least get a more comfortable pose....but somehow that isn't as fun. Instead, she tries doing what she was practicing before, seeing how fast she can sketch the girl before Yotsuba decides she's tired of the pose]

[SHE WON'T BE GETTING TIRED. NOPE. She is the best subject ever.]

[Oh wait what's that down there.

Oh, there's a beetle. That's cool. Hi little beetle. What're you doing today.

Yeah she's just going to watch this bug for a second or two. It's right by her foot and everything!]

[BUT ANYWAY BACK TO POSING. Best subject.]

[she smiled to herself, working fast until the lines began to become more than scratches on the page and take the shape of an exuberant little girl with a bright smile]

[Still not moving... Her arms are getting tired, this pose is hard to keep up.]

Are you done? It feels like I'm holding something heavy and there's nowhere for Yotsuba to put it down.

[done enough, so she nods] All done. You're free.

[Freedom! She lowers her arms and heaves a great big sigh. Standing perfectly still is tough work!

As she stands there her right arm slooowly starts to rise back up again... So she stares at it, pushes it back down with her left arm and watches it go back up.] It won't go down! Aaaah!

Oh no! [her eyes widen in faux worry] You held it up too long. You must be stuck!

[a small frown] This is bad. I only know one way to fix stuck arms.
