SIX ⌘ Yotsuba and Buried Treasure [Action]

[Sometime in the afternoon, Yotsuba sees this message pop up in her journal. Rumours of buried treasure?! No way, she had totally been left out of the loop, what rumours?! There are probably hundreds, no, thousands of people already out looking for the treasure by now... She'll have to be quick and find it before anyone else! That treasure will be hers!!

First off she heads to the fountain and from there her treasure hunt begins! Yotsuba has her journal with her as she walks around all over the place trying to find the next hint to where the treasure is buried. There's the odd occasion where she's concentrating so hard on her journal that she ends up bumping into walls and maybe even people, but that doesn't deter her for long! Feel free to run into her at any of these locations: the fountain, playground, bakery, item shop, clinic, cherry blossom hill, library and finally around house 16. Yes, she's going to be all over the place today.

If you don't feel like engaging this five year old in her treasure hunting shenanigans that's fine. Yotsuba might just come to you first, waving her latest hint around and trying to get your attention.]

Hey, heeey! Do you see this? I need help, there's buried treasure out there and Yotsuba is going to find it!

[If you help her out there might be some candy and plastic coins in it for you in future. Maybe, if she decides to share.]

Okay, Yotsuba will go there right now! [Not that she's ever been there before, so she's running off in the completely wrong direction.]

Um... this way. [Snagging you discreetly, small child.]

[For a few seconds she keeps trying to run off in the same direction even after she's caught.]

So it's this way, Yotsuba got it wrong! [About face! And then more running, this time in the right direction.]

[Soft laugh.] Yes, this way.

Excited I take it?

Really excited! You should always be excited when looking for buried treasure!

[As she runs she spreads out her arms and zooms along. Whoosh~]

Even more excited than when Yotsuba went to see the hot air balloons!

[Laughs again.] That's exactly right.

Yeah? When did you see the hot air balloons?

I didn't. [...] Yotsuba was going to go see the hot air balloons with Daddy and Ena and Asagi, but then Yotsuba woke up in a box here. There were no hot air balloons in the box!

[But she was going to see the hot air balloons. So that counts for something.]

Maybe you'll see some here again and even more treasure. [Holds a finger over her lips.] But it's a secret, okay?

There might be secret hot air balloons here?! [YAAAAY] Secret hot air balloons with treasure inside. That'd be the best Christmas present ever. Yotsuba will keep it a secret so don't worry, shhh!

Well, they probably won't be in the hot air balloons, maybe just mark off with the treasure is.

I'll give a hint when to keep an eye out for it.

So just hot air balloons and no treasure? Ohhh, I see. [But maybe... The hot air balloons are their own treasure. Yes.]

Okay, and Yotsuba will give you a hint when... When you're looking for something and Yotsuba finds it first.

No, the treasure will be under the hot air balloons.

Under the hot air balloons. Not in or over. Under. [...] Ohhh, it'll be squashed.

So what are you looking for that Yotsuba can find first and tell you about, something yummy?

Maybe! You'll just have to see when it happens I suppose.

[Laughs.] Nothing immediately. Unless your treasure at the end is that kind of treat, I suppose. I'm more in it for the hunt I suppose.

Yotsuba doesn't want squashed treasure, but I'll wait, Yotsuba is patient!

Ohhh... So you want some of Yotsuba's yummy treasure? [Hmm.] You can have a little bit, only a little!

It won't be squashed I'm sure.

Nah, I'm good! Yotsuba can have all of that.

Yotsuba gets all the treasure then because you're good. The more treasure the merrier, Yotsuba will be very merry.

[Pausing to stop for a moment, Yotsuba turns around and then looks at the ground.] ... Still no pink trees?

If it's food, definitely.

I think they're just up ahead over on that hill. [Points, forgetting she has the advantage of a bit more height.]
