[Now it's just a little wait for the water to boil.] What other sorts of things do you do around the village, Yotsuba?

Play! Play play play, and run, Yotsuba runs places too, like to Seventh Heaven. They have really good food you know? It's yummy, I'll have the special! [What else is there...] Playing? And napping!

[It's a very hectic schedule for a five year old you see.]

I see. And what do you think about trying new things?

...Are the new things going to be fun? Are they really really new?

Hm, lets see. Have you ever been to school before?

[Shaking her head! ...And then nodding.]

Yotsuba doesn't go to school! Yotsuba went to a cake festival and ate cake at school back home. [...] But it was a crepe. It wasn't a cake. [...Cough.] Elicia goes to school here!

That's right; Elicia is a student of mine. Would you like to go to school as well?

Yotsuba can go to school?! [WOW] Where do I sign, do I need my business card for Yotsuba to go to school?!

Of course you may. We can take care of all of the red tape on Monday. Does anyone else in your house attend? If not, you can walk over with me in the mornings.

Nope, Nowy and Yurippe don't do school stuff. But Yotsuba does now! [Heh she's the only one in the house going to school. That means she's better than Nowy in one more way~] Can I walk with you every day to go and take care of the red tape? Does it need lots of care like a pet?

Red tape is used for important occasions, so it's very special indeed. Now, this part is important, Yotsuba. Are you able to tell the time on the clock?

Ohhh red tape is important, okay, special stuff only. [Wait she needs to be able to tell the time to get in? Ah hell she hasn't a clue... But if she doesn't know maybe she won't get in?! This is a very unsure response.] ...Yes.

All right. That's one of the things we'll study together. When I knock on your door in the morning, you'll need to be dressed and ready to go. So you have to tell the others -- and I will speak to them as well, so they know -- to make sure you're awake by at least eight o'clock. That'll give you plenty of time to get ready, before my knock.

[This is suddenly starting to sound really official. Is this really what Ena and Fuuka did every day before school?]

It's like Yotsuba needs to make a new schedule up now, really busy. [...] does Yotsuba need to wear a neck tie and carry a brief case?

No, nothing like that. You might want to find a small bag you can carry a notebook in, though. You have friends who go to school, don't you? I bet they'll have some ideas for you.

Small bag, notebook... Ooh! I have a bag, Yotsuba has a bag, it's really cool and you can put stuff in it and you can carry it around! Gonna talk to all my friends and talk to them about school and bags and what to do. Going to go to school! [...] And drink cocoa!

[What timing! She's already bringing the cups to the table, now filled with delicious cocoa. They just need the marshmallows, which are a half step away in the pantry.] Indeed.

Wow Yotsuba mentioned cocoa and then there was cocoa!

[Best timing. Even though she adores marshmallows that doesn't stop her from taking her cup once it's on the table and taking a swig before the marshmallows can be found.]

It's HOOOOOOOOT!!

[Owowowowow fanning her mouth with her hand!]

[That doesn't stop her from going back for another sip though, seemingly unfazed despite how she freaked out just now.

Goodness, I didn't realize you were that thirsty. [She holds up the bag of marshmallows.] Did you still want any of these?

Refreshing! [Wiping her mouth and making a big show of slamming her cup back down onto the table. Ooh. Marshmallows.]

Yes!

[...Nudging her cup towards Raine.]

... Please.

[Nudge nudge.]

Careful, you don't want it to spill now. [But she'll oblige with a generous helping of marshmallows.]

[That's right. She doesn't want to lose any of it! But there's a drop of cocoa on the table now.

... Maybe if she leans down and puts her head on the table she can lick it off.

Nope she just ended up banging her head instead. Sob. Leaning forward to take her cup back along with all those delicious marshmallows in defeat.]
