[Grumble, grumble. Norma's not all that thrilled about getting beaten up by a five year old, and it shows on her face. Her stomach still kinda hurts, and she rubs it idly, looking at the tiny child with a gloomy expression. ...Moon power, huh?]

That moon magic's pretty potent. [Seriously.] But I dunno if you really need that much of it to get ice cream. I mean, stuff's free here, right? I think all you really need is a chaperon. Aaaand, since I'm not doing anything and could go for a sweet treat, I happily volunteer to be your chaperon--er, sidekick, even!

My gift to you for beating up the wicked Normonster. [And hopefully an appeasing gesture so you will never do that again. <__<]

So Yotsuba gets a reward for punching Norma?! Wow!! [Well hello there positive reinforcement, you are a wonderful thing.]

Okay, you can be Yotsuba's sidekick! Let's go get ice cream with lots of red bean paste and... And sprinkles, all over it, sprinkles!

[WAT.]

Huh?! No, no, you're not getting any ice cream for punching Norma! In fact, punching Norma doesn't get you anything at all, okay?! So no more punching. If you promise not to ever, ever punch Norma again, then you get ice cream.

Ever ever? Ohhh, that's a long time... But okay, for ice cream! [But now this just means Norma definitely has to get punched again in the future, preferably during an event where Yotsuba isn't responsible for her punching antics. It was the Malnosso!!]

Yotsuba promises to never ever punch Norma ever never again because then Yotsuba doesn't get anything and Yotsuba likes ice cream. Never ever never ever ever never ever!

[Why does this feel somewhat like making a deal with the devil? ...N-No, she's just imagining it. Yes.]

Okay, good. I think now you deserve some ice cream, Munchkin. But remember, if you break your promise, no more! Only good girls that don't punch Norma get ice cream.

[But, Norma thinks she's hammered the message of DON'T HIT ME AGAIN KTHNX well enough into Yotsuba's head, and so - after taking the little girl's hand into her own - Norma begins to take her towards the restaurant. That place can probably whip up a decent enough sundae or two. Or one they could share together.]

Yotsuba is a good girl, a really good girl, so get me lots of ice cream! Please!

[So very excited right now. But yes, she gets the idea. Hitting Norma, that's a no-no, therefore she shouldn't do it. Understood.

... SO ICE CREAM.]

What flavours are you gonna get?! Yotsuba wants strawberry and chocolate and vanilla and banana and caramel and... And red bean! Yummy!

Red bean ice cream?

[That sounds disgusting. How could anyone make a bean into ice cream? Eugh... The other flavors sounded good - caramel especially - but that last one has Norma actually sticking out her tongue and making a face of deep contempt. It's like she can taste the pastyness and BLEGH. So gross! What the heck kind of foods does this kid have in her world?!]

I think I'll stick with chocolate and vanilla... Or whatever tasty thing Curly or whoever's working at the restaurant can whip up.

Red bean! And green tea too, they're all yummy but Yotsuba doesn't like tea much. It's better as ice cream.

[It's better than it sounds, really. Yotsuba makes a face and sticks her tongue out back at Norma if only for the sake of copying her.]

You can try some red bean once we're there Norma, it's good! [Curly? ...Hm. Moving her fingers to her forehead she traces out her eyebrows and then swirls her fingers around.] You mean Yotsuba's boss?

[Green tea as ice cream? That...may be okay, even if it still sounds kinda funny - though green tea ice cream sounds a whole lot better than red mean. It'd be...sweetish, right? Tea is usually kinda sweet. At the very least it should still retain that key point and purpose of a dessert.

Norma nods her head slowly at Yotsuba's zeal about her giving the less appealing of the two flavors a try (m-maybe she will...) and smiles sheepishly. She blinks a second later though, and snickers softly as she get steadily closer to their destination.]

Boss? [HAHA THAT FINGER MOTION. Norma's snickering becomes full on laughter, which she tries to hide behind her hand.] Yep, that's Curly all right, you totally nailed the imitation. But there's no way, you can make me believe you actually work at the restaurant, Munchkin... Maybe if you laid down the napkins and silverware, maybe...but...

Yotsuba works there and has a real job with business cards and everything!! No brief case though, or a tie, but everything else. It's a really cool job too!

[By the time the end up reaching the door in she springs forward and poses in the doorway, waving her hands around as though to stop anyone from coming in.]

Yotsuba protects this place... From trolls and goblins!! They try and steal all the food you know! Only I can fight them so Yotsuba got a job making them go away.

[She's paid in pancakes. It's the most delicious job ever.]
