Should anyone open their front door today they might just be greeted by a great big colourful box all wrapped up with ribbon. Heck, even if you're just walking down some path, minding your own business, you might suddenly find yourself stumbling across this multicoloured gift box. Inside the box are thousands of tiny little packing peanuts. It might be a little excessive, but there's a good reason for there to be so much packaging. Fast asleep on top of the foam packaging is a little girl wearing a nice little New Feather dress. Every now and then she tosses and turns in her sleep, making the box shake a little as she does so.

The girl's journal and clothes are also packed in along with her, further down in the box. Some assembly required, do not swallow the packaging as it's a choking hazard. No batteries required. Enjoy your x1 New Feather starter kit!]

[Running back over to the box she came out of and climbing inside, in full sight. But now she's in the box NO ONE WILL FIND HER. This is the best hiding spot.]

[....pffff holding in his laug-- okay, no he can't. He cracks up and walks over to the box. He lifts it up and stares down at her, wearing a smirk.]

[Reaching her arms up out of the box.]

Jumping as high as she can and slinging her legs over his shoulders.]

Let's go! Carry Yotsuba... To ice cream! [Pointing off in some direction dramatically.]

[She's visited the neighbours plenty of times, but she's never stayed there. What is this foreign concept of staying at someone else's house?]

What will happen to the box? Gotta recycle!

The mean guy with the hat and Otonashy asked Yotsuba to stay with them too...

[She wants that box. She needs that box. After all, recycling is very important.] Yeah! We need to keep the box. It can be a souvenir from when Youtsuba first arrived!

[He grins.] I'll hold onto it for you, and you can come over to play in it whenever you want!

Yotsuba will visit everyday! Some days, I might even bring you souvenirs that I find, like acorns.

[Swinging her legs a little as she starts to sway from side to side on his shoulders.] Great! It's a fun box, isn't it? So colourful! You can use it to keep stuff in. [Like Yotsubas.]

[Holding her to make sure she doesn't fall.] Sure. I'll keep the stuff you bring me in it.

You can? Really?! [Oh, right. The fire thing!] Yotsuba has never had roasted acorns before! Are they good?

Then, after we grow old together, we can look back on the box with fond memories. Remember the good times!

[He laughs.] I don't plan to be here til I'm old. But maybe I can find a way to come to your world!
