FIVE ⌘ Yotsuba and Running Away [Written?|Action]
[Otonashi left yesterday. That meant that now Yotsuba was stuck in a house with that loser Naoi. The fact he was really kind a little while back at the beach but now he's really mean again is more than a little confusing to the girl. Yuri is still here but right now all Yotsuba is thinking of is the bad stuff. Namely no more Otonashi and lots more stupid, mean Naoi.
What she does next seems like a brilliant idea! This will totally bring Otonashi back and make Naoi be nice again, and if it doesn't then oh well at least she's not living in the same house as him anymore.
This badly scrawled message appears on the journals:]

[Now then! If she's running away she needs lots of important things. For one her pink fluffy coat that Jack gave her to keep warm, a ton of food from the fridge, the viking helmet and fishing pole thing that Hiccup got her, the cicada plushie Otonashi left for her...
It isn't until she tries leaving the house with all her belongings that she realises this is a bad idea. So instead she settles on the coat and the plushie. Sacrifices have to be made if you're running away! Sadly these sacrifices also include her journal so she won't be replying to her little goodbye message.
Morning
This is a great idea! Running away from home is the best thing she's ever decided to do! Otonashi will be trying to find his way back now and Naoi is probably feeling really bad about pulling her hair and telling her to shut up all the time. Yuri is probably shouting at him for it too! Haha, yes, running away has solved everything! Yotsuba happily marches around the village with a big smile on her face, more than a little proud at how she thinks her plan is going.
Midday
Hungry... Why didn't she bring some food with her? Maybe she'll wander on over to Seventh Heaven and see if she can get some food from there, they make awesome pancakes after all. Or maybe the bakery! Or she could settle for staring at passers-by with big, open eyes until they give her something to eat. Screw taking candy from strangers she's hungry!!
Afternoon
Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. Now she's getting cold. And hungry again. And Otonashi hasn't come back and found her yet... She wants to go home. The problem is Yotsuba has wandered so far away from home by this point that she's in a part of the village she doesn't even recognise. Now she's lost, cold, hungry and really upset. How is she going to get home now?]
Waaaaaaaah!! Yotsuba wants to go home!! Wanna go hooome!!

Waaaaaaaah!! Yotsuba wants to go home!! Wanna go hooome!!

[He returns the salute, very solemnly indeed.]
And I'm never boring. I challenge you to find a less-boring man out there in the world! It cannot be done!
no subject
[Seems she's full of weird sayings today.]
So Yotsuba needs to find someone who makes Captain Jack look boring? Uhm... Can you make fire come out of your mouth? Natsu could do that, he was really cool and not boring!
no subject
Pfft! Any man drunk enough at the Twelve Daggers and standing nearish a candelabra could do that!
no subject
So can you do it too?! Yotsuba wants to breathe fire too, so show me! Show me!

[Would they even allow her in Good Spirits?]

[But hey, she can skip a bath for a few days if it means she can obtain the power over fire!!]
Ohhh, or does being smelly mean your fire is blue?
no subject
Well now I bloody well want to find OUT if the fire would be blue!
[This is clearly the best plan ever.]
no subject
[Of course it is, please take this small five year old into a bar to watch you drink Jack.]

[Onward! Jack starts striding off toward Good Spirits, the mission to breathe Blue Fire and impress a five-year-old foremost in his thoughts!]
no subject
[Running along behind Jack to keep up, occasionally throwing a skip or a twirl in here or there because wow she's going to watch someone breathe fire!]
Going to the tavern~♫ Going with Captain Jack~♫ Foosh! Going to breathe fire everywhere~♫
no subject
Goin' to the tavern! Goin' with Captain Jack!~♫ Foosh and woosh as he lights up the place with his breath!~♫ Like a great piratical dragon, him!~♫
[And they were like the worst lyrics of all time.]

Going to the tavern! Going with Captain Jack~♫ He's a pirate, and a dragon~♫ But he smells like a pirate and not a dragon~♫
[BEST SONG. Top of the Luceti charts 2012.]

[That sung directive given, Jack Sparrow holds open the door for the little girl.]

[Happily marching into the tavern and definitely not running. Once she's inside she turns and gives a bow or two.]
That can be the tavern song!
no subject
[No time to do that now, though! Jack points to a bar stool -- get on it if you can, Yotsuba -- and then vaults over the counter to set up shots for them both. The green-haired child? Gets apple juice in a shot glass. Jack Sparrow? Gets a horribly dangerous-looking blue liquid in a shot glass.]
Now. First off! We must toast. I shall toast to Leonard McCoy, my best mate! What about you, darling?
no subject
Wow this glass is really tiny... But hey, juice is good! That blue looking stuff looks awful though. And also mildly intriguing, like some sort of dish detergent that's kept under the sink...]
Ohhh, a toast! That's what the head of the table does! [She can totally remember doing a toast back home, though that was a little different.] Yotsuba will toast to all the good stuff! And Otonashy!! It's not over yet!
[Raising her shot glass-] Ooooi!

[And down the hatch it went, right to the bottom of the mercifully tiny glass.]

Today's juice is in good form! Haaah!
[...Jack didn't seem to enjoy his blue stuff as much as she enjoyed her juice... Was she not meant to like it?
...Bending over slightly and pressing her head onto the bar.]
Bad.
