There's no money here. Why don't we eat out every day, every single day? Back home we got some milk, it was really eckspensive! 600 yen, and it was good. But why don't we drink that milk here? If there's no money and everything is free then it would cost... No yen.

...It's really okay, right? Yotsuba wants to eat eyeball-fry. With a knife and fork! Even if it's still really cold it's a good idea, so everyone should come and eat with me.

Can Yotsuba have a snack while waiting, because Yotsuba's tummy is making noises. And then, when you're ready you can call Yotsuba and I'll come down for dinner. And it will be good.

Yes, a snack sounds like a good idea to hold you over. Sorry to make you wait, Yotsuba. I'll make sure it tastes extra good!
Oh! And I'm Roji, by the way. I saw you at the CH7 brunch a few weeks ago but I don't think we actually spoke.

If you promise to make it taste extra good then Yotsuba will forgive you, because then it'll be really, really good and it'll fill my tummy up.
[Hmmm. Roji, Roji... Has she heard that name before?]
Yotsuba saw you too! Yeah, the person with blue hair! [WRONG.]

[And he just laughs at that last bit.]
I'm blonde actually, but close enough! [Roji that's not even close.]

Blonde is close to blue, no big deal! Blonde and blue are next to each other on the rainbow... But green is in the way! Ahahah!!

Yep! Blue and yellow make green too, so I guess when they touched in the rainbow, green came around!

Ohhh, is that how it works? Yeah, that's how green came. Green is Yotsuba! [Ducking her head down. See? Green!]

[Well, back home at least. But he did see some.]

Oh, oooh, and back home there was no one else with green hair! No one, only Yotsuba. Not even daddy!

"Runs in the family" is a saying, actually. It means a certain trait has appeared in your other family members before. Like hair color in most cases.
You lived on an island, huh? That's pretty cool!

Pretty cool, yeah! There are cooler places though. Like the park! The beach!

Did your island have a lot of shoreline? I imagine most islands to have beaches all around.

Big beach, with people all over it and towels and big umbrellas! Daddy took Yotsuba on the train to go to the beach so we could go and see the jellyfish and play.
