SEVEN ⌘ Yotsuba and Outer Space [Video]

This is really important okay? It's super serious so you need to listen to me!

[Just in case there's no one listening she smacks the journal a few times to make sure she gets everyones attention. Or she hopes that's what hitting her journal around will do.]

Yotsuba is going into space. [Stay serious. This isn't fun... But oh my gosh space?! She's been star gazing and talked about aliens and Sailor Moon- Will Sailor Moon be there?! GFDKHASGK-- Okay no, no. Serious face. She might have cracked a smile there but she's doing her best to take this as seriously as she can manage.] Space is really big. And really far away!

[She turns away for a moment, only to come back with this thing in her arms.]

Someone needs to take care of him whilst Yotsuba is gone. He likes eating leaves and crackers, and he sleeps a lot but you need to take care of him anyway. He still needs looking after even if he's lazy!

[Yes. She's being sent off into space and one of her top priorities is making sure the stuffed toy Otonashi gave her is kept safe.]

Yuri can't look after him, she's busy! [Or she imagines she will be, SSS stuff and what not.] And Naoi can't do anything! ... Ohhh, is space cold? Yotsuba will bring the fluffy pink coat, it's really warm.

[Rapunzel doesn't know much about the drafts. Or space. But she doesn't really think Yotsuba going there will be a good thing.]

I'll be okay, Yotsuba and lots of friends are going to the moon too. Yotsuba will be really safe.

[Even though she's resigned herself to taking this completely super seriously it's still pretty cool. How many five year olds get the chance to go to the moon after all?]

Are you going too Rapunzel? Yotsuba will try and bring you back something cool if you can't go.

[Well, if she's sure, than Rapunzel should be sure too, right? She'll try not to worry.]

No, they didn't read my name. What kinds of things do they even have in space? Besides stars and moons?

Oh, okay then, Yotsuba will bring you home some moon rock.

[Or she'll try to anyway, even though she shouldn't be able to.]

Well in space there are, uhm. Aliens! And spaceships you ride around on. Black holes too, they're these big swirly holes in space that suck you up.

[A rock from the moon would be pretty cool...so she won't tell her not to, but she won't insist, either.]

Suck you up? Where you do you then?

[Well the cartoons she seen never actually show the hero getting sucked into said black holes, so she guesses they bad things.]

You get sucked up like a straw in a milkshake and you whoosh around space, all over the place! Then the black hole spits you back out and you feel all dizzy, but you feel so dizzy that you need to stop playing for a little. That's a black hole, they're very bad!

[...Oh. That does sound very bad. And very unsafe.]

Oh! Make sure you don't get sucked up into one, then! And what's an...a-lien?

Yotsuba will try very hard and very seriously to stay away from all the black holes! [So serious today.]

Aliens aaare... Little green men. With laser guns. And when they meet you they say stuff like 'we come in peace, take us to your leader'. They're pretty cool for green guys, like how Yotsuba is pretty cool for having green hair!

Little green men like your hair? [This paints a very interesting mental image.] But if they come in peace, the must be nice guys! Do you think you'll meet any out there?

Just like my hair! Or green like grass, on the green in a rainbow, or like a banana before you're meant to eat it but you try to anyway and it tastes disgusting.

[Hopefully all the aliens up there are nice. So nice they'll help out with everything, draftees + aliens vs third party. Battle of the century.] Maybe! Maybe Yotsuba will meet a whole family of aliens and we'll eat persimmons together on the moon. Like a good family!

[...Ooh. That sounds like fun.]

In that case, I hope you get to meet some aliens! I'm sure they'll be nice to you. But if anything dangerous happens, you should take a frying pan to keep yourself safe.

A frying pan, really? [But those are meant for cooking. Why would she need one of those?] Why? There's a frying pan in the kitchen, it's used for cooking tasty stuff. Do you want Yotsuba to cook on the moon?

Well, you certainly COULD use it to cook on the moon! And that would be very cool. [Totally cool.] But it's also a very useful weapon. I've used one a lot, and it's never failed me!

[Is that so? One moment. Yotsuba runs off into the kitchen and the sound of clattering pots and pans can be heard in the background... And then a huge crash as a big pile of pots falls out of one of the kitchen cupboards, but just ignore that.

Okay, she's back with a frying pan!]

Got one! Yotsuba has found a useful weapon! [If she holds her water pistol at the same time then she could use it as a shield too right?!] Frying pans are cool!

That's great! You'll be unstoppable now. If you meet any mean aliens, just give them a good old swing with your trusty frying pan, and you'll be on your way!

[And then if you get hungry, you can cook a snack! It's such a versatile weapon. People do not even realize.]

Just a good old swing... Okay! Here I go!

[Swish, swoosh~ The force she's packing behind this frying pan is making sounds as it passes by the journal and then back again. And again. And again!]

Yotsuba is doing really well! [Swoosh! Swoo- CRASH SMASH tinkle tinkle.] ...

[Welp. There goes a window. And the frying pan.]

[...Oh, dear. That didn't sound too good. Um.]

...Yotsuba? Is everything okay? That sounded...breaky.

It's okay, nothing happened!!

[Ohgodohgodohgodohgodohgod HOW IS SHE GOING TO EXPLAIN THIS. Yuri is going to be mad. Naoi is probably going to be even madder.

... Maybe she can cover the window in a blanket and hope no one notices all the glass. And the missing frying pan.]

Nothing sounds breaky, that was just Yotsuba sneezing! [Yeah sure. That'll do.]

[...Whoa. That was one crazy sneeze. The sneeziest of sneezes.]

Oh, are you sick? It sounded pretty bad. Maybe you should see a doctor. Oh--I know one!

You do?! Does the doctor person know how to fix windows too?!

[NOT THAT THERE'S A BROKEN WINDOW OR ANYTHING SHE'S JUST CURIOUS.]

... Cough cough, achoo! Yotsuba needs a doctor and a window doctor!

Oh! I don't know, but she was very good at braiding hair, so she can PROBABLY fix windows, too!

[Because that's totally the same thing.

Oh dear, she does sound very sick.]

Her name is Miss Adele. I think you can find her at the clinic!

Ohh, Adele, Yotsuba knows her! She has blonde hair and she walked Yotsuba home through the trees, it was very scary because Yotsuba ran away from home and that wasn't a good idea.

[Now then, does Adele seem like the sort of person who could fix a window.

Do you think Adele can fix windows? She's about a four for windows right!?

A four? [Rapunzel gives this a good, deep thought.] Yes, I think she is! I know she knows how to fix people when they're hurt...so how different can fixing a window be?

That's right, windows and people are like the same aren't they?! Yotsuba will tell her the window is in lots of pain and see if she comes over really fast to fix the window Yotsuba broke.
