[Just in case there's no one listening she smacks the journal a few times to make sure she gets everyones attention. Or she hopes that's what hitting her journal around will do.]

Yotsuba is going into space. [Stay serious. This isn't fun... But oh my gosh space?! She's been star gazing and talked about aliens and Sailor Moon- Will Sailor Moon be there?! GFDKHASGK-- Okay no, no. Serious face. She might have cracked a smile there but she's doing her best to take this as seriously as she can manage.] Space is really big. And really far away!

[She turns away for a moment, only to come back with this thing in her arms.]

Someone needs to take care of him whilst Yotsuba is gone. He likes eating leaves and crackers, and he sleeps a lot but you need to take care of him anyway. He still needs looking after even if he's lazy!

[Yes. She's being sent off into space and one of her top priorities is making sure the stuffed toy Otonashi gave her is kept safe.]

Yuri can't look after him, she's busy! [Or she imagines she will be, SSS stuff and what not.] And Naoi can't do anything! ... Ohhh, is space cold? Yotsuba will bring the fluffy pink coat, it's really warm.

Oh no! Yotsuba doesn't want to be a snowman, I would have to be super cold to be a Yotsuba snowman! [Then again, there was that one time Jack buried her in the snow. That was sorta like being a snowman. Sorta.

Anyway, to avoid turning into a snowman she'll definitely need some more coats. Off into the house she goes. When she returns it's almost hard to spot her over the mound of fluffy tops and coats she brought back, most of which aren't even in her size.

With a heave ho she dumps her warm clothing haul onto her bed and wipes her forehead with her hand.] Being prepared is hard work.

[A short, stifled laugh, before he leans into his hand.]

No, no, don't sweat it, kid! Don't you know, astronauts get special suits that deal with that cold. You're even gonna get one personally, just for you.

I get my very own Yotsuba space suit?! Why did no one tell me?! [Screw all that information that was sent out for the draftees, like hell could she make heads or tails of that stuff even if she tried.

But fiiine, looks like she will have to go put back all these coats and things. She picks the pile up and gets about half way to the door before she flops to the floor on top of the warm clothing and rolls around for a moment.]

Yeah!! Why do grown-ups always tell you you're going to do stuff but you don't do it until a year later?! Waiting is boring, even if you're patient and Yotsuba is very patient waiting is boring!

[Slight exaggeration on the year thing.]

A year is a really long time, right?? We already have to wait a whole year for Christmases and birthdays, and now trips? [shakes his head] Crazy.

That's totally crazy, my head is spinning and I can't stop it! [Though that's probably because she's still rolling around on the floor and everything is moving around and around right now.]

Christmas should come once a week, and birthdays and Easter and-- [WAIT.] If birthdays came every single week ever...

Yotsuba would be five bazillion years old!!

That's no good. You'd have a long white beard longer than the village if you were that old. It's the rules, when you're a bazillion. Can you imagine trying to walk with something like that?

Yotsuba would fall over all the time. And it would get dirty because Yotsuba would fall on it so much. Oh! And other people would walk all over it so Yotsuba would have to shout 'get off my beard you darn kids'! If Yotsuba was old then that means I could ask people to give me back massages though, that's nice.

By god, you're right. Nothing like a good back massage. But... is it worth having a bad back?

What do you mean, does your back do bad stuff when you get older? Yotsuba won't ever have a bad back because I'm really good. Sailor Cicada won't let there be any bad backs! [Going to massage ALL THE BACKS.]

Holy crap, that's impressive. I've been fighting for a super long time and even I'm not that good. But then, I'm not a cool superhero like you are, I guess.

That's okay, you can learn! [Welcome to Yotsuba's over-the-journal 'how to be a superhero' lessons.] You have to be really cool, and you hafta want to save everyone. Keep them safe from the bad guys! Are you really cool or just a three?

Well... I dunno'! You'll have to tell me. Does being in the army add any points for me? I do like keeping people safe from the bad guys.

Let 'em go! They all fly out and go bweeeee all over! Yotsuba let some go inside and everyone helped catch them again, ahaha!

I see. Careful who you let catch 'em, though! They might throw 'em into a pot and cook 'em. We gotta think of the safety of the cicadas here, right?

You can eat cicadas? [W-Who would do such a thing?] Oh no, Yotsuba will keep the cicadas safe! No one can eat them, won't let them!
